The amazing Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre has won a RIBA North East Award from the Royal Institute of British Architects. The eco-friendly building, designed by Brightblue Studio, was among five winners all recognised for their architectural excellence. It also received two special awards at the ceremony: the Sustainability Award, sponsored by Geberit, and Client of the Year, sponsored by Tobermore.
This was one of the first projects I worked on in the north east and I am so proud to have had a role in bringing it to life. This recognition is very well deserved.
