Evaluating Revitalising Redesdale

October 12, 2020

It has been great working with the Revitalising Redesdale team to pull together an interim report for their evaluation. Although lockdown has made things challenging in lots of ways, it has also provided a bit of time and space to reflect and this is captured in our report alongside all the fantastic achievements the landscape partnership has delivered so far. One huge success is that the project has given Redesdale an identity – both for local people and visitors.

This map, designed by Laura Barnard, celebrates project highlights and shows just how much has been achieved across the Redesdale area.

The final evaluation, which will pull together all the data and evidence collected over a five year period, will be presented to the project board in 2022. This will include looking at the potential project legacy and hopefully we will see measures in place to continue some of this work to protect and celebrate the natural and cultural rural landscape.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how this project develops over the next two years.
