Making the best of lockdown

October 3, 2020

I was really pleased to read about how the Natural Neighbours project is adapting to lockdown today. I was privileged work with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust to develop this fantastic project a few years ago. It is so good to read that it is still going strong and that delivery hasn’t paused during lockdown. Instead, the team has found new ways of supporting the community and is also building new partnerships to engage and support asylum seekers.

We need more of these collaborations to allow communities to access nature on their doorstep and broaden diversity in wildlife activities. This is a great example of what can be achieved. Well done to the Natural Neighbours team.
