#5yearsfreelance Eek! I have just been asked to tender for quite a large evaluation contract. It is a good opportunity and an interesting project to be involved in. But, I have had to turn it down because, looking at all the projects I am either already delivering or are maybe ‘in the pipeline’ I am too busy – for the rest of the financial year! Wow! I hate turning work down but there comes a point when there are not enough hours in the day to do everything.
This doesn’t mean new clients shouldn’t get in touch – things can change at the drop of a hat and I will always try and help where I can (including recommending or working with other consultants if appropriate).
It is nice to be so in demand.
