North East Charity Awards

What an inspirational evening repping Alnwick charity BOOST at the North East Charity Awards. This little charity is something that I feel passionate about – supporting young people to overcome the barriers of growing up in England’s most rural county and providing access to opportunities and experiences that would otherwise not be available. I am proud to chair the charity, working alongside a fantastic team of trustees.

The Awards evening was a spectacular but humbling night – a reminder of how wonderful the voluntary sector is and how much is achieved by charities working across pretty much every sector. There were so many amazing charities and individuals showcased tonight – all very deserving.

The BOOST team was proud to bring home a Highly Commended certificate – quite an achievement for a charity that had fallen into dormancy until fairly recently.
