Five Ways to Wellbeing
March 20, 2020Bailiffgate Collaboration
July 31, 2020Working from home is not new to me but never meeting clients (or anyone) face to face is. Having company at home every day is also not what I’m used to. My working routine has been turned upside down and everything is done from my desk, albeit at a slower pace and with more interruptions.
Lockdown is forcing me to think more about work-life balance. When all this is over, can I continue to make more time for family, get my dose of nature everyday, explore the world on my doorstep, use the car less, bake and eat more (maybe not!), tidy, sort, organise etc? At the same time, I really value my opportunity to work. It has slowed a bit, there is less to do, but I am so glad I have something.
As a family, we’re adapting to the new normal and trying to find a balance between work and play.
