Restoring Ratty Wins!

I was delighted to attend the Love Northumberland 2019 awards last week with the Restoring Ratty team. Even more delighted that they were awarded the best ‘Coast and Countryside Project’.

This follows their success in June when they were recognised at the prestigious Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)’s 2019 Awards. Here they won the Best Practice Award for Large-Scale Practical Nature Conservation for the long-term efforts to restore water voles to the Kielder landscape.
